When I'm not photographing couples, seniors or families, you can probably find me at home watching Survivor, reading by the pool, painting or listening to music. Bike rides make me happy and I love a good suspense/thriller novel. I'm undeniably and completely addicted to caffeine and won't do anything before having my morning coffee. I do love a solid snow storm in the winter so that I can hit the slopes, and I hike all I can when the weather is nice. I was once a math teacher who decided that I was ready to turn my passion into my full time gig.
My approach
My approach to photography is rooted in storytelling and emotion.
I’m not here just to create pretty images, but to capture the feeling, narrative, and “poetry” within each moment you share. My style is a hybrid of directed poses and prompts + documentary-style candids. I help create beautiful compositions (don't worry you won't be posing yourselves) and also allow and anticipate spontaneous, real interactions. with a documentary-style flow, creating beautiful compositions while giving you space to be yourselves so the candid, authentic moments can unfold naturally.
I take time to understand you, your story, and what matters most so your photos truly reflect who you are. Throughout the process, I keep everything organized, flexible, and transparent, from clear timelines to thoughtful deliverables, ensuring you feel supported, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.
